B2 German courses for nurses and care staff

Are you a nurse or care worker with B1 level German who needs a B2 certificate to have your qualifications officially recognised in Germany?
PET regularly organises intensive group courses to get nurses and care workers from B1 to B2:

  • Group size 11 to 14
  • Intensive sessions, over a period of 34 weeks
  • 1 day per week, 7 units of 45 minutes per day
  • At end of course: exam telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege

B2 German course for nurses and care workers

Course contents:

  • Improving German for all four skills:
    listening, reading, writing and speaking
  • Specific nursing and medical vocabulary
  • Communication skills for interacting with patients and care home residents, colleagues, supervisors and family members
  • Documentation: anamnesis, transfers, protocols etc.
  • Intensive preparation for the exam telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege

Next B2 course dates:

  • 1 day a week, Monday
  • 7 units of 45 minutes per day
  • including a 45 minute break
  • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Total teaching units: 238
  • Requirements for participation in the course: German language skills level B1
